It all started in 1998
It is hard to believe that Windsor Point has been in operation since March 1998. Over the
last 27 years we have had many wonderful people call Windsor Point home. They come
from across the country: North, South, East and West. It has been an interesting mix. The
thing that stands out the most, however, is that most people are nice, and all have
something in common. Yes, some like soft veggies and others like crisp, some are cold
natured and some are hot. Some are mothers, fathers, grandparents, married and single.
There are doctors, nurses, professors, engineers, housewives, accountants, teachers and
many, many more. But everyone has worked hard either at home or in the workplace. They
are smart, intelligent people that have lived a variety of careers. This coming together of a
group of people from all walks of life makes it interesting.
Senior Spring Break
Everyone gets to experience something new maybe, yet there is always someone that a resident can relate to. Somehow it just works. To celebrate this great group of people that have made Windsor Point home, we take a week each year and celebrate them. There are daily activities above and beyond the usual. It’s like a senior Spring Break! Everyone has a great time and just enjoys being alive and well.
Retirement is just a new beginning
Windsor Point loves all the great people passing through. Thank you all for
inspiring us to grow old, fighting to make life the finest it can be. Thank you for teaching us
by example that retirement is just a new beginning. A time to meet new people, try new
things and grasp life with both hands. What a joy it has been and will continue to be.
