Windsor Point is a Life Plan Community with Continuing Care.
This means that residents can enter the community totally able to take care of themselves while just enjoying the many services that Windsor Point provides. However, if the need arises, there are many levels of care that will make sure that you are well cared for.
The Levels of Living and Care Options offered by Windsor Point are:
Independent Living – This is just what it says. Residents take advantage of the services offered by Windsor Point while enjoying less responsibility for day-to-day tasks. We do the work so you can spend time on the things you like.
Royal Treatment – Independent residents that take advantage of Royal Treatment live in the Thompson Building and benefit from a little extra assistance while maintaining their independence.
Independent Plus – This service is located in Regency Court on the second floor of the main building where residents receive daily support in the minor activities of daily living.
Assisted Living – Chelsea Hall is a licensed unit located in the Kelly Health Care Center. Chelsea Hall provides round-the-clock assistance in activities of daily living. Assistance by aides is continuously available and is overseen by the Health Care Administrator.
Memory Care – Hayes Hall is a secure unit in the Kelly Health Care Center for residents with memory impairment who may wander. Trained aides are available 24 hours each day to ensure these residents maintain the highest quality of life.
Skilled Nursing – Devon Hall is a Medicare-certified facility. It provides 24 hour skilled nursing care for residents who may need it. This includes post-hospital care, short-term rehabilitation, complex medical care, and long-term care. Oversight is provided by licensed professional nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, and the Health Care Administrator.
*Therapy Services are available at every level of care with licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
