Black Jack Anyone?
A few times each year, Windsor Point transforms into a lively casino for the night—and it’s always a hit! Our managers and staff trade in their usual roles for black pants, white shirts, and the title of “dealer.”
Blackjack tables are set, chips are stacked, the roulette wheel is ready to spin, and even the bingo cards and slot machines are prepped for action. Right after dinner, the doors swing open, and the excitement begins!
Within minutes, residents scoop up their chips, find their favorite table, and the fun is underway. It doesn’t take long before cards are shuffled, bets are placed, and the room fills with laughter and cheers.
Casino Night is always a crowd favorite! No experience? No problem! Our staff-turned-dealers are happy to teach the rules as they deal, making sure everyone feels right at home at the tables.
Friends compete to see who can rack up the most chips—often with plenty of playful banter and good-natured teasing along the way. The real thrill, of course, is trying to beat the dealer and snag a prize before the night is over.
After a few hours of card-shuffling, wine-sipping, pretzel-munching, and plenty of laughter, it’s time to tally up the chips. The top three players walk away with fun prizes—courtesy of the house—but truthfully, everyone leaves feeling like a winner after such a great night.
This year’s big winner certainly hit the jackpot—starting the night with $300 in chips and cashing out with more than $1,600! He finished well ahead of the second-place winner, who walked away with $550 in chips. Talk about a high roller!
